When I began playing for the symphony full time, I quickly knew I needed
something to handle the stress related to the job. A friend invited me to a
Tai’ Chi Gung class with Rasaji. Within about six weeks, I knew that I had
been led to something very special. Here was a simple set of exercises that
helped me feel great, gave me a ton of energy, and turned out to inspire
more creativity than I ever imagined possible.
As a musician, I was always taught to look for the very best teacher
available. You recognize them by their ability to do the things that they
talk about. Rasaji wasn’t expected to live beyond his 18th birthday, yet he
has been practicing the system of health and regeneration that brought him
back to health for over 36 years, and has been teaching this Tai’ Chi Gung
system for 26 years. I continue to take class with him privately and I have
been teaching classes myself for the past 12 years.
There are a couple simply ways to learn more about Tai’ Chi Gung. Taking a
live class is by far the best way to know if Tai’ Chi Gung is right for
you. Or you do the warm up exercises with Rasaji from a free video
posted on http://www.rasaji.com/exercises.htm.
On www.rasaji.com you will also be able to listen to excerpts from his
Circle of Chi Seminar, download or order his book, or learn how to contact
him directly if you have a question about Tai' Chi Gung.
In addition to teaching Tai’ Chi Gung classes myself, I also do a workshop
for musicians and artists to share with them how doing Tai’ Chi Gung can
help their technique, accelerate their growth and further their careers in
the arts. For more information, go to: Tai’ Chi Gung
and Music.
